The laptop is a Dell C640 that is missing a hardrive and a Cdrom drive. One Usb slot was available in the back, however, due to the age of this computer, booting from usb was not an option. I had to boot from the floppy drive PLPBT bootmanager, which allowed to to further boot Slitaz Linux. The OS booted with most of the features I wanted. Wireless connectivity, and a fast limited desktop. It did not configure the graphics card correctly, but I can live with that.
